SSSP/NO RESISTANCE - 7" OUT NOW!

Wow - it's seems like forever since we last blogged y'all. Busy times at Koi but don't worry we haven't forgotten about you! ok, let's get straight down to business - new limited vinyl!!

So, after a few delays, we finally have the new SSSP/No Resistance 7" in - and it's fuckin' amazing!!
This features the first new material for over 2 years from the hugely popular New York hardcore band SSSP! SSSP (Skinheads Still Scare People) is a now a 5 year old project formed by NYHC veterans Mike Delorenzo (Sheer terror, Kill Your Idols, Celebrity Murders) and Vinnie Value (Kill Your Idols, Warzone, No Redeeming Social Value, Kickstarts). Well, the fellas haven't lost any of their kick ass attitude with their 2 tracks of stomping hardcore/Oi! Loss for Words is a new song penned by Mike and Vinnie and the second song is an great cover version of the Blitz classic - Someone's Gonna Die!

On the flip side of this soon to be classic, is No Resistance, who follow up their debut summer album "Gentlemen Prefer Bombs" with 2 tracks of their old school, melodic punk/Oi! sound. They're a 3 piece punk band from Houston, Texas, who's roots lie in 70's and the early 80's Oi! and the punk rock sound they grew up with. They have recently played with the Business and Oxblood and have more high profile shows coming soon! Their recipe for success? Well, grab yourself some early Bad Brains and The Misfits, blend it with some Buzzcocks, a little Johnny Thunders and then season with some 4 Skins, The Kinks, and Ramones! Creative, melodic, jump-up-and-down fun punk rock!
